Jennifer Adams, LPC-MHSP, ACS

Jennifer Adams has over twenty years of experience working in school counseling. She is passionate about partnering with school counselors to empower and support them in their careers. Jennifer has developed counseling programming and supervised numerous counselors in her career.

She specializes in working with girls and women experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, school issues, body image concerns, disordered eating, and trauma recovery. Each of these can impact relationships, which is an area of focus as well for Jennifer. Building an authentic relationship with clients is Jennifer’s top priority.

Jennifer attended Samford University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Psychology. She continued her study of psychology at Vanderbilt University where she earned her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling.

Jennifer is licensed in the state of Tennessee as a professional counselor, and she is a co-founder of Evolve Counseling Associates, LLC. Jennifer is a lifelong learner and believes in the power of acquiring new information to grow as a clinician. Jennifer is an Approved Clinical Supervisor and has certification as a Telemental Health Provider, a Clinical Trauma Clinician, and a Dialectical Behavior Therapist. In addition, she is a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
